The public Study in Europe fair will take place in Rabat on Sunday, November 8, 2026. The information event will allow visitors to explore different higher-education opportunities in Europe through direct exchanges. Its intended audience includes students, secondary-school pupils, parents, young professionals and university representatives with an interest in international study opportunities and academic connections.

Visitors will be welcomed from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Rabat Marriott Hotel in Centre Agdal, Avenue Inaouin. Admission to the fair is free, but advance registration is required. Anyone planning to attend should therefore take this condition into account before travelling to the venue, since free admission does not mean that visitors can enter without registering beforehand.

Around 30 European participants expected

Around 30 European higher-education institutions and national agencies are expected to participate. This cautious figure reflects the available information, which points to approximately 30 institutional participants without establishing a final detailed exhibitor list here. The fair is intended to bring universities, other higher-education actors and national bodies together in one place so that they can provide information directly to visitors.

The announced participants represent ten countries: Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, Malta and Romania. Their presence will give visitors an opportunity to compare options from several European systems while directing questions to the university and national representatives attending the Rabat event. The format therefore supports direct exploration rather than relying only on general information.

Information from bachelor’s to doctoral level

Visitors will be able to ask about study opportunities at bachelor’s or licence level, as well as master’s and doctoral programmes. The fair therefore covers several stages of higher education. This range can help each participant focus discussions on the level relevant to their plans, whether they are considering an initial university degree or looking at more advanced postgraduate study.

Direct conversations with university and national representatives are expected to cover programmes, admissions and student life. Visitors can therefore raise questions suited to their circumstances rather than receiving only a broad presentation. For students, secondary-school pupils and families, these exchanges provide a way to distinguish between the opportunities and conditions presented by the different institutional participants at the fair.

Scholarships, funding and Erasmus+ mobility

The programme will also provide information about scholarships and financing opportunities. Visitors can address these subjects with the participating institutions and agencies alongside their questions about programmes and admissions. The fair consequently brings together several practical dimensions of a potential study plan, rather than limiting the discussion to the choice of a degree or a general introduction to the participating institutions.

Erasmus+ mobility is another announced topic. Visitors will be able to seek guidance on these opportunities from representatives gathered in Rabat, alongside information about courses, funding and student life. The fair’s scope therefore combines the exploration of full degree programmes with guidance concerning European academic mobility, giving participants several areas to discuss during the same public event.

A separate day for institutional networking

The public fair on November 8 should not be confused with the institutional networking event planned for Monday, November 9, 2026, at the same Rabat hotel. The second gathering is designed to connect Moroccan and European higher-education representatives. It therefore has an institutional cooperation purpose that is distinct from welcoming students, families and other visitors to the public information fair.

The difference between the two dates is important: November 8 is the public fair dedicated to visitor information, while November 9 is intended for networking among higher-education actors. The events nevertheless contribute to the same academic connection by providing complementary settings for interested members of the public and for Moroccan and European institutions seeking direct contact with counterparts.

A European initiative delivered with partners in Morocco

Campus France Paris is leading the Rabat event in partnership with the European Union in Morocco and Morocco’s National Erasmus+ Office. The organisation therefore brings European and Moroccan partners together around information on study and mobility. It gives the Moroccan public direct access to the announced institutions and agencies while also supporting exchanges involving higher-education representatives from Morocco and Europe.

The events form part of the EU-funded Study in Europe initiative, financed through the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. The initiative is implemented by a consortium led by Campus France and including DAAD, Nuffic, Harno, the Academic Cooperation Association and the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research, bringing several specialised organisations into the wider programme.
